Local talent showcased at art show and sale
The Vermilion Community Art Club had another successful show and sale on April 24 and 25. There were 12 club members and 12 guest artists participating with a total of 174 pieces. There were also many prints and packages of notepaper. These sold very well, as did the pottery.

Ah Haa, UCSM partner to offer accredited art classes
The Ah Haa School for the Arts and the University Centers of the San Miguel are working together to offer art classes for credit through Mesa State College. This fall, Western Art of Modern Centuries is offered for one credit taught by Laura Kudo, MA. This class is held Monday and Wednesday evenings from Oct. 20-Nov. 10.
